The event is hosted and organized by McAteer & Will Estates, with support and partnership from Milford Hospitality Group, bringing together local businesses, families, and community leaders to create a safe, inclusive, and high-energy Halloween experience for all ages.

Fourth of July Fireworks Celebration
Location: Airport Park, Matamoras, Pennsylvania
Address: 700 Avenue S, Matamoras, PA
Attendance: Thousands annually
Frequency: Annual
The Fourth of July Fireworks Celebration is the largest and fastest-growing annual community event hosted by McAteer & Will Estates. Attendance has grown to the point where it now draws significantly more people than our Halloween event, welcoming thousands of residents and visitors each year from across Pike County and surrounding communities.
Due to the scale of the event, Airport Park is the only venue large enough to safely accommodate the crowd size, entertainment footprint, and fireworks production. Even with its expansive layout, on-site parking alone cannot accommodate the volume of attendees. As a result, coordinated overflow parking is required, with many surrounding streets temporarily closed to ensure safety, accessibility, and smooth traffic flow.
Event highlights include:
• Live concerts and themed performances
• DJs and live entertainment
• Food trucks and local vendors
• Kids’ inflatables and obstacle courses
• Community contests and family activities
• A professionally produced, large-scale fireworks finale
This celebration has become a cornerstone of the region's Independence Day tradition, combining entertainment, family engagement, and community pride on a scale rarely seen locally.
In addition to its size and reach, the event also serves a charitable purpose by raising funds for local EMS and EMT services and supporting community improvements, such as athletic field and scoreboard upgrades.
Community Education & Public Workshops
Education has always been a cornerstone of our outreach. We regularly host free, no-pressure educational workshops designed to provide residents with real information and local insight.
Topics have included:
• Home selling workshops
• Homebuyer and new construction seminars
• Credit repair and financing education
• Real estate investing strategies
• Senior real estate and estate planning education
• Interior design and outdoor living seminars
• Safety and family awareness education
These workshops are most often held at our office at 402 Broad Street, Milford, PA, with select sessions hosted at larger community venues when attendance requires.
Senior & Family Advocacy
Our team places a strong emphasis on helping seniors and their families prepare for housing transitions and long-term planning. This focus is supported by senior real estate expertise within our organization, including team members who hold the SRES (Senior Real Estate Specialist) designation and lead our senior-focused education and outreach efforts.
We have hosted senior-focused seminars addressing:
• Downsizing and housing transitions
• Estate planning considerations
• Senior housing options
• Aging-in-place strategies
• Legal and financial preparation
These sessions frequently include trusted local professionals such as estate planners, attorneys, senior housing experts, and care-resource representatives.
Our motivation is personal. Members of our leadership team have firsthand experience with the challenges families face when preparation is delayed, and we are committed to helping seniors and their families plan proactively, confidently, and with the right support in place.
Charitable & Community Partnerships
In addition to hosting events, we actively support and partner with local organizations and causes throughout Pike County and the surrounding region.
Our involvement has included:
• Supporting local EMS and first responders
• Autism support services
• Habitat for Humanity through donations, logistics, and volunteer support
• Community churches and nonprofit organizations
• Family-focused fundraising initiatives
Our role is hands-on. We contribute time, resources, logistics, and visibility, not just sponsorship.
